GOLFARANG
Golfarang means literally translated „foreign flower“ and exactly this can be found in the design of the carpet. The patterns of flower bouquets and delicate tendrils – already used with pleasure in France during the 19th century – were translated into Persian carpet design at the time of the Qajar dynasty, to satisfy the desire for continental influence. Rezvani translates this motif into the modern age with his Golfarang.
Golfarang is offered with a knot density of 350.000 knots per sqm. Undyed Persian highland wool with 20% pure natural silk.
